This place is cozy and in a fantastic location, just a short walk from a boat dock, and we had a wonderful experience thanks to the friendly staff.

Exceptional staff, well laid out and incredibly comfortable room with bathroom on a real boat.

Staff where excellent and the hotel was charming, it had unbeatable location close to city center. I loved the stay here...

The room was well-organized and airy, providing a comfortable atmosphere. I appreciated the fresh air coming in and the convenience of being able to leave my car on-site. Everything was very comfortable, and the staff, along with the owner, were all very friendly.

Generally, the place was charming and had extremely helpful staff like a member of the crew. The breakfast was good with hams, orange juice and cheeses, had everything you could want. The rooms with bathroom, fresh air coming in, for instance were well-organised and airy. The location was perfect and excellent, close to the train station and easy to find.

Great location right near the central station, and a lovely couple managing this place. You can find a supermarket nearby, which made me feel safe. the breakfast served here was okay, with some tasty hams and yogurts to choose from. 🛳️

I recently stayed at a charming boat hotel near the NEMO Museum for a few nights. The location was superb, with easy access to Amsterdam Centraal Station, the Medieval Centre, and the Red Light District. The owners were welcoming and friendly, creating a family-run atmosphere. The room was clean and the hot shower worked well. I enjoyed the simple breakfast and the option to help myself to tea, coffee, and hot drinks throughout the day. The deck with tables and chairs was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The room could have been more spacious and the bed was a bit small. The Wi-Fi signal was not very strong in our cabin, but it was still usable.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk from the station and the city center. From my room, I had a peaceful and beautiful view of the water. I would definitely recommend Hotelschip Gandalf to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
