Generally, the place was charming and had extremely helpful staff like a member of the crew. The breakfast was good with hams, orange juice and cheeses, had everything you could want. The rooms with bathroom, fresh air coming in, for instance were well-organised and airy. The location was perfect and excellent, close to the train station and easy to find.

Great location right near the central station, and a lovely couple managing this place. You can find a supermarket nearby, which made me feel safe. the breakfast served here was okay, with some tasty hams and yogurts to choose from. 🛳️

I recently stayed at a charming boat hotel near the NEMO Museum for a few nights. The location was superb, with easy access to Amsterdam Centraal Station, the Medieval Centre, and the Red Light District. The owners were welcoming and friendly, creating a family-run atmosphere. The room was clean and the hot shower worked well. I enjoyed the simple breakfast and the option to help myself to tea, coffee, and hot drinks throughout the day. The deck with tables and chairs was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The hosts were amazing and made our stay truly memorable. The warm and comfortable room provided a perfect place to rest after a long day exploring the city. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the central station, making it convenient for getting around. The shared breakfast experience was a delightful way to start each day, and we loved the variety and quality of the food.
The room could have been more spacious and the bed was a bit small. The Wi-Fi signal was not very strong in our cabin, but it was still usable.

My stay at Hotelschip Gandalf was fantastic! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and fluent in multiple languages. They were always available to assist and the breakfast they provided was delicious. The rooms, although basic, were well laid out and cozy, with a cupboard, desk, and chair. Despite the cold winter weather, the rooms were warm. The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk from the station and the city center. From my room, I had a peaceful and beautiful view of the water. I would definitely recommend Hotelschip Gandalf to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
